It's time to join Amy again for Five on Friday. It's been a year today
since everyone can join in with this link party so big congratulations
to Amy. Long may Five on Friday continue.
It's a very frosty Friday morning here and while we were down at
Heeley City Farm earlier I took some photos and I'm sharing four
of them here with you.
It was great to see the flowers soldiering on in the cold but we felt
sorry for the ducks. There were thin ice floes on the pond and they
must have been freezing. The last photo was taken when we got home.
I love blue skies but we couldn't really linger for long outside today.
It's just too cold! Best to head indoors and admire the view from
the warmth and comfort of our little home.
the warmth and comfort of our little home.
Those are my five today. Thanks again to Amy. I wish everyone
a lovely Friday. If you're having a frosty, freezing day like us,
I hope you're staying warm and cosy today.
Brr! So chilly but beautiful too. Let's hope it warms up soon. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though it was very cold! Your frosty pictures are very pretty though. Hope you had a great time! Thank you so much for joining in the anniversary of Five On Friday, I really do appreciate it so much! Have a good weekend! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs Marion. Unusual tomsee daffodils with frost on..... the weather is really crazy this year! Enjoy your weekend X
ReplyDeleteThose poor daffodils I don't know how they do it. I've been watching them closely this year as they came out far too early The first really makes them bow their heads but they manage to stand tall again once the trust has thawed. Hardy plants
ReplyDeleteFrosty daffodils! I hope they survive :). It has been cold hasn't it, I have to say I prefer it to the wet and warm which seems to be alternative ;)
ReplyDeleteThe frost can make things look magical but it's nice to see it from indoors where it's nice and warm and not venture out too long in it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! The sun and frost together make my favourite winters' days :) xx
ReplyDeleteHurrah for blue skies! Lovely pics. x
ReplyDeleteThe ducks are probably oblivious to the little bit of chill. I took some photos of ducks, geese & swans last winter and they had ice built up on their chests from the water. They didn't seem bothered with it at all. Lovely set of photos and the blue sky is perfect :)

Oh how beautiful everything looks in the sunshine. Lovely photos. x
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I like a brisk bright day. It puts a bit of pep in your step!
ReplyDeleteIf the sun is shining, I don't mind about the frost! Lovely photos :-) xx
ReplyDeleteBlue skies are such a delight to see. Those daffodils are looking just a beautiful even in the frost, I hope they are still blooming!
